PRIVACY POLICY

This is Kittys and Dickys Privacy Policy and explains how we use any personal information we collect about you and why we collect it. 

What information does Kittys and Dickys need? 

We need your contact details -: name, phone number, address, postcode and email address. We will also need information about your age and health in order for a treatment to go ahead and you must advise us at each appointment if there any changes and in particular to health and medication, as there may be side effects that could affect your treatment.

Why do Kittys and Dickys need It, how will we use it and how long will we retain it? 

We need all the details above in order to ensure that it is safe for us to provide the treatments you may ask for and also for insurance purposes. We will store your information for 7 years after the date of your treatment, or for 7 years after you have reached the age of 18 if you are/were under 18 when your treatment took place. Our lawful basis for processing this personal information is ‘contract’, this means that we have a legal reason to ask you for your data because we need it for contractual reasons. You do not have to share your personal data with us, but if you do not, we cannot offer you a treatment with Kittys and Dickys. You must fulfil your side of the contract (share your personal information) in order for us to fulfil ours (carry out treatment). 

Kittys and Dickys use an online booking system which currently holds your contact details in order for your appointments to be booked and it also documents your attendance and payments. This data is collected so we are able to contact you regarding your appointment and can complete accounts for HMRC. The booking system is password protected and is accessed using either our iPhone, iPad or Macbook, all of which are password protected and only accessed by Kittys and Dickys. In the event of a data breach, I will notify any individuals affected and also the Information Commissioners Office (ICO)

Marketing

Kittys and Dickys may also like to send you information about the products and services we offer using the information you have shared with us, but you do not have to agree to this for treatment to go ahead. If you agree to being contacted for marketing, it will only be marketing from Kittys and Dickys; your details will never be given or sold to a third-party. Kittys and Dickys is a small, local business with ethics and will not plague you with unnecessary emails or texts messages. At any time, you can request to have your details removed for marketing by emailing hello@kittysanddickys.com.

Social Media

Occasionally we take photographs of before and after treatments and request for them to be used on social media, for competitions or marketing purposes and will be owned by Linda Scahill/Kittys and Dickys to show examples of the quality of our work. You may obtain a copy upon request.

Will we share your personal information? 

Absolutely not!  We will never share your information with anyone outside of Kittys and Dickys. Kittys and Dickys is a small, local business with ethics and will not plague you with unnecessary emails or texts messages either.

Who can I complain to if I feel you are not handling my data correctly? 

Please contact us if you have any questions about this privacy policy or the information we hold on you, you can do this by email hello@kittysanddickys.com. If you believe we are not handling your data correctly you have a right to make a complaint, this should be sent to us using the above contact details.
